Dr. Joyce is involved in creating openings for the inclusion of information related to diverse cultures in literature and instructional situations as well. As a culturally response text consultant she ensures myriad voices are immersed in text. Currently, she is working with Dr. Wayne Madsen on a culturally response children's book series, The Misadventures of Inspector Holmesbee.
